HACCP reports
ChillSense produces HACCP-style reports that help you demonstrate temperature compliance for cold-chain assets. They are designed to be useful for auditors, food safety officers, and internal record keeping.
What the reports include
A typical report shows:
- The asset and sensor it covers.
- The reporting period (for example, a calendar month).
- Minimum, maximum, and average readings.
- Any temperature breaches detected during the period.
- A summary suitable for inclusion in your food safety records.
Reports are generated as PDF files for easy printing, archiving, or sharing.
When to generate reports
Most customers run reports on these three cadences.
Monthly
As part of routine food safety record keeping.
Before audits
To provide evidence of cold-chain compliance to inspectors and auditors.
After incidents
To document what happened, what was affected, and the corrective action taken.
Generating a report
From the dashboard:
- Go to the reports area.
- Choose the site or asset you want to report on.
- Choose the reporting period.
- Generate the report and download or share the PDF.
Some accounts have monthly reports generated automatically. Check your subscription details if you are not sure.
Reading a report
Look for:
- Whether the asset stayed within its target range for the period.
- Any breach events, including how long they lasted and how serious they were.
- Notes or comments captured at the time, where supported.
If the report shows breaches, make sure your records also explain what corrective action was taken.
Keeping records
Best practice for cold-chain compliance:
- Store reports securely for the period required by your local food safety authority.
- Keep printed copies on file if your premises require physical records.
- Pair reports with your written food safety plan so auditors can see policy and evidence together.
